Serving HVAC contractors across the United States · Operated from the UK, and we provide lead generation services for HVAC contractors and other home improvement businesses across the United States.

What Data We Collect

Information you give us

When you fill in our contact form, complete the availability check at /start/, or get in touch, we collect:

Your name and email address
Phone number (if provided)
Company name and business details
Your ZIP codes and other quiz answers (licensing status, monthly volume goal, callback capacity)
Any consent choices you make (see "Consent Basis for Contact" below)
Any other information you include in your message

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we collect anonymous usage data to understand how visitors use the site. This includes pages visited, the referring website, browser and device information, and general interactions with the site.

This data is collected using PostHog, a privacy-focused analytics platform. PostHog does not use cookies for analytics tracking, and data is processed on servers in the European Union.

Consent Basis for Contact (TCPA)

The availability check at /start/ captures two separate consent choices before we, or a contractor you are matched with, contact you about an inquiry:

Required — contact consent: "By checking this box, I agree to be contacted by PoweredLeads about my inquiry by call, text, and email, including by automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply." This is the consent we rely on under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) to call or text you about the inquiry you raised.
Optional — marketing consent: a separate, unticked-by-default box to receive occasional tips and updates. Leaving this unchecked has no effect on whether your inquiry is handled.

You can revoke either consent at any time. Reply STOP to any text message, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email hello@getpoweredleads.com and we will honour it promptly. Revoking marketing consent does not stop us contacting you about an inquiry you have an active request for; revoking contact consent stops both.

Email Practices (CAN-SPAM)

Marketing and nurture emails from us:

Use subject lines that honestly describe the content of the email
Identify the message as coming from PoweredLeads and include our postal address (71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ)
Include a working, one-click way to opt out or unsubscribe
Are actioned promptly: an opt-out or "reply stop" request is honoured, and we do not sell or transfer your email address to a third party for their own marketing after you unsubscribe

Consent: When you submit a contact form or the availability check, you consent to us using your details to respond, discuss our services, and, where you have opted in, contact you about your inquiry as described above. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.
Legitimate interest: For anonymous website analytics (to improve our site) and for B2B marketing outreach to businesses who may benefit from our services. We balance our interest against your rights and only contact relevant business contacts.
Contract: To deliver our services to existing clients.
Legal obligation: Where we need to retain data for tax, legal, or regulatory purposes.

Analytics & Tracking

We use PostHog for website analytics. It operates without cookies (so no cookie consent banner is required), processes data on EU-based servers, and collects anonymous usage data only. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors; it is used solely to improve our website.

Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your personal data. We share data with the following processors who help us run our business, and with the HVAC contractor whose ZIP codes match your inquiry:

PostHog, Inc.: anonymous website analytics (EU servers)
Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting, security, and performance
Email service provider: to send and manage communications

We may also share data with legal authorities where required by law.

International Transfers

We are a UK-registered company processing data about US inquiries, so your data is transferred internationally as a normal part of the service. Our analytics data is processed within the EU. Some processors (notably Cloudflare) may process data on servers outside the UK and EEA. Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect your data.

Data Retention

Contact form submissions: retained for up to 3 years, then deleted
Client data: retained for the duration of our contract plus 6 years (for tax and legal purposes)
Website analytics: anonymous and retained according to PostHog's retention policy

Your Rights

As a UK-established data controller, we honour the following rights for anyone whose data we hold, in line with UK GDPR:

Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you
Rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate data
Erasure: ask us to delete your data (where we have no legal reason to keep it)
Restriction: ask us to limit how we use your data
Portability: request your data in a portable format
Object: object to processing based on legitimate interest or for direct marketing
Withdraw consent: at any time, without affecting prior processing

California and US State Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" of personal information. We do not sell your personal information, to data brokers or anyone else. To exercise a CCPA right, email hello@getpoweredleads.com with your request and we will respond within the timeframe required by law. If you live in another US state with its own privacy law, we will honour equivalent requests on the same basis.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), since we are a UK-established controller:
