HVAC Lead Generation Companies Compared: Every Published Price and Policy (2026)
Every list of “best HVAC lead generation companies” we could find is written by one of the companies, with themselves at number one. This page is the other thing: every vendor’s published price, exclusivity terms, replacement policy and extra fees in one table, with a link to the source for each claim, so you can do the comparison yourself. We sell leads too — we’re in the table on the same terms as everyone else, and we’ve marked our row.
The comparison table

How to read the table
The headline price is the least useful column. 99 Calls’ $54.99 is real, and so is the $399 setup and $199/month around it. Minyona’s $50 floor is real, and so is the $2,000 setup and the Meta ad spend you fund separately. A no-fee $85 lead can cost less than a with-fee $55 one at any volume a small contractor actually buys.
Exclusivity is binary, remedies aren’t. Most exclusive vendors promise one contractor per lead. Ask what happens to your money if the promise breaks. To our knowledge the refund bond in our row — remaining balance refunded in full if we ever double-sell your locked ZIPs — is the only published financial remedy in the table; we’d genuinely welcome competitors matching it, because it would make the whole category more trustworthy.
Replacement policies do the real quality work. Every vendor says “quality leads.” The differences live in writing: what counts as invalid, who decides, and how long you have to claim. Minyona’s honest caveat — a real-but-unresponsive contact is “part of lead gen” — is the industry default. Our standard treats an unreachable contact as our problem, not yours, because every contact is verified before it reaches you.
Match the source to the work you want. Pay-per-call vendors (Service Direct, 33 Mile Radius) skew toward urgent repair — great if you answer phones fast. Search-sourced form vendors (Fixr, conXpros) capture homeowners already shopping. Meta-sourced vendors (Minyona, us) generate replacement interest search can’t reach — different intent, explained honestly here. Shared platforms are fill-in volume with a speed lottery attached.
The five questions to ask any vendor, in writing
- Is every lead sold to exactly one contractor — and what is the financial remedy if it isn’t?
- What is your written definition of a valid lead?
- What happens with dead numbers, renters, and out-of-area contacts, and is there a claim deadline?
- Is the per-lead price the entire price?
- How was the lead generated and verified before I was charged?
Any vendor worth your money answers all five on paper before taking a dollar. Ours are published on the how it works page, and you can check whether your ZIP codes are open in about 90 seconds at the area check.
